1. Memorial Day Ceremony - Veterans Memorial of Stillwater
Honoring the St. Croix Valley area casualties of war. The ceremony will include music by the Croix Chordsmen and Stillwater Area High School band. A flag raising and flyover by the T-6 Thunder Flight Team is planned for noon. May 29, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
2. Memorial Day Music in the Park - Lakefront Park
Live music including Joshua Lassi, the Jake Nelson Band, Tim Sigler and headlining will be National recording artist, and Navy Veteran, Sailor Jerri. It is not only family friendly, but FREE to the public! There will be bounce houses, face painting, hula hoop contests, silent auctions, adult beverages and more! May 29, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
3. Family Nature Day - Sally Manzara Interpretive Nature Center
Help us celebrate the Sally Manzara Interpretive Nature Center and Sunfish Lake Park with nature fun and educational activities for all. Visit our staffed interpretive stations around the building on topics like honeybees, water quality and mammals. We will also have live animals with the Carpenter Nature Center and prizes for kids. June 3, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
4. Storytime Trolley - Downtown Stillwater
Storytime Trolley is back for the summer! Stories come alive for children when they are read to aloud. Dolly the trolley will pick riders up at Valley Bookseller at 10:00 am. When you check in, you will receive a token. The token serves as your ticket to board the trolley and is good for a snack and 20% off a children’s book when your adventure is over. The trolley will take you up to Pioneer Park where a storyteller will read several stories. When storytime is over, you will be treated to a trolley ride around Stillwater, then it’s back to the bookstore for that snack. June 3, 10:00 am - 11:15 am
5. Family Open Swim - Goldfish Swim School
Family Swim sessions are open to the public and are also a great way to get your feet wet. June 4, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
