Articulture art camps encourage kids to explore a variety of media and emphasize personal creativity. Our camps are fun and educational with themes ranging from comics and animation to food as art. Camps serve children ages 4 through 19, and are generally broken up into age groups of PreK-Grade 1, Grades 2-6, and Grades 7 and up. Grade levels indicate Fall 2017.

Our summer camps are week-long running from June 12 through September 1. We offer full- and half-day options, and before and after care for your convenience. Tuition costs range from $124-$275, though scholarships are available.

The full day runs 9:00am-4:00pm with an hour break from 12:00-1:00pm for lunch and a trip to the park across the street. Please plan on bringing a cold lunch. We also have two 15-minute snack breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, where children can refuel and re-energize. Snacks are available for $1 each, or feel free to bring your own. If participating in a half-day, the morning runs from 9:00am-12:00pm and the afternoon from 1:00pm-4:00pm. There will be separate curricula for the morning and afternoon. If extended care is desired, before care runs 8:00-9:00am and after care from 4:00-5:30pm.

Articulture’s philosophy:
Articulture defines artistic success by effectively making an arts experience educational, engaging and meaningful. Our programming focuses on using the creative process to encourage creative thinking in an open ended approach to arts education. Perceiving the difference between the creative process and sequential learning is the pedagogy of our curriculum. Our programming is not about following a predetermined outcome, therefore, the creative process is paramount to the educational experience and becomes the venue for cognitive development and innovative learning. Our goal is to develop inspired learners and to encourage advanced reasoning skills by giving students creative freedom through guided exploration.

Our curriculum imparts basic art skills, terminology and technique while based in imaginative learning to channel and nurture the creative process.
