Outdoor adventures await at Tanadoona! Day, Resident and Leadership Development camps for ages 5-18. Explore 103-acres of forest and prairie along Lake Minnewashta, including a swim beach, archery, arts, nature activities, adventure and challenge courses, hiking trails, canoeing and so much more!
Each week of camp has a different theme, including dress-up day on Wednesdays if you’re into costumes! Day Camp offers both traditional day camp and specialty camps. Resident Camps include both Mini-Resident and a full week Resident Camp, as well as a special Teen Week Resident Camp. Teens can take their camp experience to the next level through the Leadership Development camps – Day Camp Assistant, Counselor in Training and Junior Counselor. Be one of the campers who becomes a summer camp counselor!
Beyond Tanadoona, camper embark on the ultimate adventure, a Northwoods Adventure Trip! Together, campers plan a unique canoe trip navigating a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest at our destination camp near Grand Rapids. All counselors complete a comprehensive 2-week training before camp to ensure a safe and fun camp experience for all. More than half our counselors come from outside the United States to share their culture and love of nature.
