Celebrate the First Day of Spring with free ice cream at participating Dairy Queen locations, a sweet and simple way for families to welcome the new season. This popular spring freebie is available for all ages and makes the perfect after-school treat or family outing.
2 🎈Inflatable Funfest - Cottage Grove - Friday
Back by popular demand, Inflatable Funfest returns this Friday, at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena for one of the most popular indoor kids events in Cottage Grove. Held on the turf field, this high-energy, family-friendly event features giant bounce houses, obstacle courses, climbing adventures, and massive slides. Session times include 10:00–11:30 a.m. (Ages 6 & under), 12:00–1:30 p.m. (Open Ages), and 2:00–3:30 p.m. (Open Ages). Each ticket includes 90 minutes of unlimited jumping and play. Advance tickets are strongly encouraged for this non-school day favorite.
3. 🎨 Chick-fil-A Dine & Paint – Woodbury – Friday
Enjoy a creative night out at Chick-fil-A with this family-friendly Dine & Paint event from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Families can grab dinner and let kids get creative while supplies last. No registration is required, making this an easy and fun Woodbury family event to add to your weekend plans.
4. 🐍 Hastings Exotic Pet Expo – Sunday
The Hastings Exotic Pet Expo brings more than 60 vendor tables together for one of the largest reptile and exotic animal events in Minnesota. Hosted in Hastings, this family-friendly expo features birds, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, small mammals, aquatics, and more — plus pet supplies, décor, and treats. Guests can meet experienced breeders and explore everything from pythons and geckos to hedgehogs and guinea pigs. Admission is $5 per adult, $3 per child (ages 4–12), and free for children 3 and under.
5. 🍨 Free Ice Cream Event – Grey Cloud Outdoors & Brynn Alden Design + Build – Sundayy
Families can stop by for free Bridgeman’s ice cream while connecting with local businesses Grey Cloud Outdoors and Brynn Alden Design + Build. This community appreciation event is a sweet way to enjoy a free family treat, meet local professionals, and celebrate spring together.
