Pick-Your-Own (PYO) Farms in Washington County
I love turning errands into adventures, and there’s nothing quite like a hands-on day at one of the pick-your-own (PYO) farms around Washington County. Watching my kids’ faces light up as they pick fresh fruits and veggies right from the fields is priceless—and it’s a wonderful way to teach them about where our food really comes from. By joining a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in Washington County, you’re not only supporting local farmers but also treating your family to a regular supply of fresh, seasonal produce all summer long. CSAs are a fantastic way to introduce your kids to new fruits and veggies, teach them about healthy eating, and reduce trips to the grocery store.
