1. Sing, Play, Learn with MacPhail Center for Music - Lake Elmo Library
Join MacPhail Center for Music as we explore the magic of music and play. Through hands-on musical play activities, families will experience music’s impact on learning and reading readiness. Together we will sing, rhyme, read, move and create! The theme for this program is "I Make Music." Pre-Registration Required. June 26, 10:30am - 11:30am
2. Art Lab: Printmaking for Kids - R.H. Stafford Library
Explore the art of printmaking with us at R.H. Stafford Library! Everyone will design their own collograph print out of recycled materials and use real printmaking tools to create as many art prints as you'd like. Stop by anytime you'd like. June 27, 2:00pm - 3:30pm
3. Dazzling Dave, Yo-Yo Master - Stillwater Library
Dazzling Dave will explain the basics of yo-yo while also teaching the fundamentals of physics. June 28, 10:30am - 11:15am
4. Amped Up Entertainment - University of Minnesota Raptor Center
Swing around to the Discovery Center's backyard amphitheater this summer for a variety of free programs for all ages. See an owl, hawk, and falcon and learn about birds of prey! June 29, 10:00am - 11:00am
5. Starlight Cinema - The Bad Guys, Ojibway Park
The Best-selling book series goes to the big screen. The crackerjack crew of animal outlaws learn what it takes to change their ways. Enjoy summer outside with free activities, entertainment, and a movie on a 40’ inflatable screen. Entertainment, activities, and movie are FREE. Come for the entertainment, and stay for the movie! Don’t forget a blanket or chairs to watch the movie under the stars.
