1. Building with Bricks - Park Grove Library
Join fellow brickmasters to build every Monday afternoon in front of the J fiction stacks or on the back tables. Build whatever you can imagine and execute in the allotted time. April 17, 1:15 pm - 4:15 pm
2. Stories in the Park - Woodridge Park
This story time focuses on concepts such as life skills, counting, colors, emotions, patterns, and kindness. Story time is your opportunity to meet new friends, socialize, and strengthen early literacy skills. When the weather permits, we will be outdoors. When the weather does not cooperate, we will meet inside the building. All storytimes will be followed by a fine motor activity related to the stories of the day. April 18, 10:30 am - 11:00 am
3. Family Art Cart - Valley Library
Enjoy a family craft! Crafts are designed for children ages 4 and up and their grownups. The crafts are self-guided and designed to allow children room for expanding upon their own design through creativity and imagination. April 20, 3:00 pm
4. Earth Day Celebration at CityPlace
CityPlace Shopping is hosting a free Earth Day Celebration in the center on Saturday, April 22nd from 11am to 2pm (with a rain date of April 23rd from 11am-2pm). Bring the whole family down to join with other environmentally conscience individuals! We will have a seed planting activity, hands on recycling stations and education stations, balloon twisters and more throughout the event! Special offers will also be available from select tenants in the center!*. April 22, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
5. Junior Master Gardeners: Seed Starting
Learn new techniques at the Oakdale Discovery Center for growing your own flowers and vegetables from seed. Decorate a flower pot, select the seeds to plant, and then bring your plant home to watch it grow! April 23, 10:00 am - 11:00 am
