Where to Celebrate July 4th near Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Stillwater and Oakdale

Are you looking for ways to celebrate July 4th in Woodbury, Oakdale, Stillwater or Cottage Grove?

We have all your Independence Day fun in the SE Metro — fireworks, parades, community picnics, and more — rounded up right here for you!

Cottage Grove

Head over to Kingston Park for the community 4th of July Celebration! Food will be available for sale, as well as other fun activities for the whole family.  The fireworks display will begin at dusk.

Where: Kingston Park, Indian Blvd & 75th St. S., Cottage Grove
When: 5:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Who: All ages, family friendly
How: Just show up
Cost: free, concessions available for purchase

Woodbury

HealthEast Sports Center will host the 4th of July Celebration!  Food trucks and concessions sold on-site and the traditional fireworks display. Play at Madison's Place playground, the splashpad, and in the green space.

Festivities begin at 7 pm and the fireworks display will be at 10pm.

When: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Who: All ages, family friendly
How: Just show up
Cost: free


Stillwater

Enjoy live music at Lowell Park, live music at Pioneer Park and civil war cannons on display. No fireworks this year. 

Where: Lowell Park, downtown Stillwater and Pioneer Park
When: Music from 5:30-9:30 pm
Who: All ages, family friendly
How: Just show up
Cost: free

Oakdale

*Fireworks will not be held on the 4th of July. The fireworks at Summerfest (June 26 at Walton Park) will replace the July 4 fireworks show. For more information, click here


Maplewood

A fireworks show at dusk. No food trucks, band, inflatables or other festivities this year. You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the park beforehand.  Fireworks at 10 pm. Free parking and admission.
